At the Krka National Park there are several places of interest. The attractions and facilities available are various footpaths, sightseeing tours and presentations, boat trips, souvenir shops, a museum, and restaurants. There are also several archeological remains of unpreserved fortresses in the park's vicinity dating back to as far as the roman times. They are ČuČevo, Nečven, Bogočin, Ključica and Burnum.

City of Šibenik is a historic town in Croatia, located in central Dalmatia where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. Šibenik is a political, educational, transport, industrial and tourist center of Šibenik-Knin county.
One of the several places of interests is the central church in Šibenik, the Cathedral of St. James, is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Also in the town of Šibenik there are four fortresses:

  • Island of Krapanj (Brodarica) 16 km

Krapanj is one of the smallest inhabited islands of the Adriatic Sea covering 0.36km2. It is also the most densely inhabited island and has the lowest elevation of 1.5m above sea level. Krapanj is 300m offshore at its closest point from the mainland town of Brodarica.
Krapanj has a rich history in deep sea diving, primarily in the harvesting and selling of sea sponges.
The small industry still persists, with sponges from Krapanj sold throughout Europe with a primary market in Greece and Italy. The cosmetic market has in recent years opened the market for Krapanj sponges on an international scale.
The tradition of diving has in latter days given rise to scuba diving, free diving and spearfishing professionals from Krapanj.
The Krapanj monastery museum permanently exhibits a show on sea sponge diving.

City of Primošten is built on a hill and is dominated by the parish church of St. George which was built in 1485 and restored in 1760.
Primošten is famous for its huge and beautiful vineyards. A photo of the vineyards of Primošten hung in the UN center in New York. Apart from its vineyards, Primošten is also known for the traditional donkey race that takes place there every summer. The largest beach in Primošten is called Raduča, and its smaller part, Mala Raduča, is voted one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Croatia. The area's vineyards are currently under consideration to become a UNESCO World Heritage site.

  • Historic City of Trogir 36 km (UNESCO World Heritage Centre)

Trogir has a 2300 years of continuous urban tradition. Its culture was created under the influence of the ancient Greeks, and then the Romans, and Venetians. Trogir has a high concentration of palaces, churches, and towers, as well as a fortress on a small island, and in 1997 was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Trogir is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex not only in the Adriatic, but in all of Central Europe. Trogir's medieval core, surrounded by walls, comprises a preserved castle and tower and a series of dwellings and palaces from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Trogir's grandest building is the church of St. Lawrence, whose main west portal is a masterpiece by Radovan, and the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia.

- Historical city core, with about 10 churches and numerous buildings from 13th century
- The city gate (17th century) and city walls (15th century)
- The Fortress Kamerlengo (15th century)
- The Duke's Palace (13th century)
- The Cathedral (13th century) with the Portal of Master Radovan, the unique work of this Croatian artist
- The big and small palaces Cipiko from the 15th century
- The city loggia from 15th century
